I booked my Iphone 5 in for repair yesterday at your Chermside kiosk. I enquired as to price and how long it would take, as I only had limited time before another appointment. I was told the price (cracked screen $149) and told it would take 1 hour, maximum 1 hour 15 minutes. As I had an hour and a half to spare I decided to get the repair done.
After an hour browsing I came back to enquire on the status of the repair, as the girl at the counter suggested. She said the repair had not started yet but she expected work would start soon, and told me to check back in 15 minutes.
After approximately another 20 minutes (not wanting to rush the technician) I came back and was told that the work still had not started due to a prior repair taking longer than expected. I reiterated my time contraints, and was told just to hang around the area and it would be done immediately. After waiting another 30 minutes, I checked back again, and was told the technician had gone for a bathroom break, and that the repair was underway.
Now approaching two hours, and having being supposed to leave 20 minutes earlier, I was a little annoyed, but decided to wait. Suffice to say, it was another 45 minutes before the repair was completed, totalling 2 and a half hours when initially quoted half of this maximum. Due to the time issues, I missed my further appointment, meaning rescheduling costs.
I am not concerned at all in regards to the quality of the repair, just the tardiness of your staff and their attitude when I expressed my displeasure at the difference in time quoted and taken. There was no apology offered at all for the delays, merely saying that "sometimes it takes longer". Had I have known that it would (or even could) have taken this much time I would have come back when I had the time to spend.
I will not be visiting your stores again in future and will not recommend anyone to do visit either.
Fix My Mobile:
You are absolutely right in saying that you shouldn't have been given a misleading time frame. We do have procedures in place designed to avoid that very situation, which were not carried out in this case. We have taken steps with staff to reiterate why such procedures need to be followed. While we concede that we can't foresee exactly how long each and every repair will take, we do understand that your time is important and we do intend to provide estimates that will be as accurate as possible.

I have used Fix My Mobile several times now for my Samsung Note 3 and S4 both times I have had repairs done they have been professional and prompt. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs those accidental drops and fails fixed quickly. Thank you team for you excellent work.

Incredibly satisfied with the service from Fix My Mobile, Chermside. My Galaxy S4 screen shattered while I was overseas; all my holiday photos were on the device. Fix My Mobile assured me none of my photos would be lost, the repair took less than 2 hours and was much cheaper than other quotes I'd received.

My Samsung was only 4 days old and the glass was damaged. Bought a new glass for a DIY. Ending up destroying the digitizer. Fix My Mobile effected the complete repair in very quick time and at a very good price. Never again DIY my phone. All the frustration was so easily overcome by my visit to F.M.M.

I would just like to thank the team at Fix My Mobile Carindale for their efficient and friendly service. Unfortunately I have cracked the front of my iPhone screen not once, but TWICE this month (on a roll..) and both times the team at Fix My Mobile have done an excellent job replacing the screen and providing me with a complimentary loan phone. Took my iPhone 5 in to the Carindale store. Was very impressed at how quickly my phone was repaired just 2 Hours even though they were short staffed that day. My partner and myself just looked around the shops and had lunch. before we knew it we had a text stating that the phone was ready for pick up.
Not only were they the best price around, the customer service was excellent. I also recommend booking in online at their website that ensures they have parts available for your repair and also makes it easy to book in as all you need is your booking number. Keep up the good work Fix my Mobile team, i will be using you again.

I dropped my iphone 5 and cracked the screen to the point I couldn't use it. Being my work phone I needed it repaired asap. The Fix My Mobile website talked about repairs within 2 hours which I was happy with, but when I visited the Adelaide St store, they said I'd have my phone back to me in an hour which was awesome, certainly wasn't expecting it to be that quick. Sure enough in about an hour I received an email saying my phone was ready. The phone looks like brand new, will definitely recommend these guys to anyone needing phone repairs, fantastic service.
