HTC has been making big waves in the mobile phone industry for quite a few years now with innovative designs and the HTC One X is no different. Its got a myriad of cutting edge features like a whopping 720p screen (1280 x 720px), a grunty 1.5 GHz quad core processor and a 8 megapixel camera. What more could you want in a smart phone today?
Fix My Mobile is fully equipped to handle any problems you may have with your HTC One X mobile phone and we have access to suprior replacement screen as well. While some mobile phone repairers have to buy the replacement touch screen and LCD separately the standard screen is actually fused together which makes the phone more resistant to getting a cracked screen. Have the HTC One XL? We can fix that as well! Not only do we replace your screen with the correctly fused version, we also replace the chassis if required at the same time. The chassis of the phone is what gives it its strength. If this is out of shape or has taken any damage, the phone will be inherantly weaker and much more likely to have problems again in the future.
The list of repairs we can do is virtually endless but here are some of the more common problems:
- HTC One X / XL Speaker replacement
- HTC One X / XL Screen replacement
- HTC One X / XL Buttons not working or intermitent
- HTC One X / XL Software updates
- HTC One X / XL Micro Sim slot replacement
We know that you want peace of mind when getting your mobile phone repaired and that's why we have now extended our warranty. We now offer a full 6 month warranty on all repairs when using genuine parts and a full 90 day warranty on all repairs that use compatible parts.
What does this cover?
It covers all faults not caused by the user; Discolouration of the LCD screen, unresponsive touch etc. Needless so say, we do not cover any physical damage from impact etc or liquid damage caused by user. Here at Fix My Mobile we take our quality of work very seriously and we stand behind our warranty 100%.
We have all heard horror stories about mobile phones catching on fire, which some seem to have been blown out of proportion with some creative headlines. However in a recent article by ZDNet (click here for the full story) a iPhone on a flight to Sydney started "spewing black smoke" and had to be put out with a fire extinguisher. After being tested is was reviled that a loose screw managed to puncture the battery casing. The screw seems to have been left loose inside the phone after a"botched screen-replacement job" by a non-authorised Apple repairer.
We have always taken a proactive approach in making sure all of our repairs are done to the absolute highest quality and needless to say we were not the repairer that caused this mishap. Always keep in mind that not all repairers are actually qualified technicians. Not only do we fully guarantee the parts we use with a 90 day warranty, the same warranty also covers you for the actual repair labour as well. We stand by the work we do and that's what makes us the first choice for tens of thousands of Australians!
What you may not know is that before you get your phone back, we stringently test the repair we have done AND we test all other major parts on your phone to make sure it's in perfect order. We are proud of the work that is done by our highly trained qualified technicians and that's what makes it easy for us to guarantee it!
Samsung has been the major competitor to the Apple iPhone quite some time and the show down between the corporate giants means that the consumers are getting some amazing technology packed into their new mobile phones. As each company tries to outdo the other their smartphones get faster and slimmer.
The Samsung Galaxy S II has everything you would expect from a smartphone but here are some of the major features; 4.5 inch AMOLED Plus screen, 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor, 8MP camera with flash and the whole thing is only 9.54 mm thick. All of this run of the Android operating system.
Some of the more common problems on the Samsung Galaxy S 2 are:
- Echoing Microphone, which is often caused by using the wrong phone case.
- Slow operation and/or freezing which may mean you need to get the software on your phone updated.
- Liquid damage.
- Cracked glass touch screen.
- Blank screen.
- Hairline fracture in the LCD.
- No reception after an impact.
All of these problems and more can be easily fixed by the experienced team at Fix My Mobile. Don't just let anyone repair your phone. Under qualified technicians can cause more damage to your phone. We only use the best parts and that's why we can stand by our 90 day warranty on all parts and labour for any repair we do.
It's finally here, the new iPad and yes it's actually called "The New iPad". Apple has made a number of steps forward with the new iPad particularly in the direction of Extreme High Definition displays. This is a great thing because with a company like Apple leading the charge we will surely start seeing new higher than HDTVs in the not so distant future. The new iPad has a host of upgrades over the iPad 2 including the processor (to run all those new pixels on the screen no doubt) and a better camera. Amazingly Apple has not included 'Siri' which made its debut on the iPhone 4S, but they have now included the 'dictate' function.
The new iPad is a serious piece of technology and if you lucky enough to own one, rest assured that we are undoubtedly ready for any repairs that may need to be done. If you need some details or pricing on repairs for the new iPad you can check out our new sister site which is dedicated to iPad and Tablet PC repairs here:www.FixMyTablet.com.au
Want more information on the new iPad? Check out the official page here: https://www.apple.com/au/ipad/
We have just launched our sister site FixMyTablet.com.au, which is focused on every related to mobile computing. The Samsung Galaxy S (i9000) and the Galaxy S2 (i9100) are two of the hottest selling smartphones in Australia at the moment and it's easy to see why. With a host of killer features all atop of the Android operating system, it's one fantastic package. But as with all gadgets these days, it's not immune to damage and other problems.
Some of the more common problems that we are seeing at Fix My Mobile are;
- Distorted Ear Piece or speaker.
- Broken Home Button.
- Hairline cracks or broken LCD screen.
- Problems with the Micro USB connector.
- Battery not charging.
- Speaker Echo.
- Cracked Screens.
The good news is most of these problems can be fixed by our highly trained staff in less than 2 hours.
But what makes us a better choice than other phone repairers? All screen repairs on the Samsung Galaxy S2 are done with a full frame module replacement. Many other phone repairers just replace the screen. It's important to have the frame module replaced as well as this will strengthen the phone and has a much stronger bond to the screen which makes it less likely to have problems in the future. It also means that your phone comes back to you in such a good condition that Samsung may never realise that a repair has been done at all and your manufacturers' warranty could stay intact. For our full Samsung manufacturers.
It's no secret that Fix My Mobile can repair any 'i' device under the sun and we know your time is important. That's why we can have most repairs done in less than 2 hours! But not all problems are straight forward. Here we talk about micro-fractures and what they mean to your beloved iPhone.
One of the more common issues we have been seeing recently is the speaker on the iPhone stops working. There can be a number of causes for this but one that you may not be aware of is a phenomenon called micro-fractures which can occur in soldered connections within your iPhone.
Micro-fractures can be caused from the impact received if your iPhone has been dropped. Even if your phone seemed fine after being dropped it can take weeks or months to start showing signs of trouble. It's a bit like a cracked windscreen on your car. While it may start small, over time the crack gets bigger and bigger until the connection inside your phone starts failing altogether.
Due to the fact that these problems occur on the main PCB of the phone, or the components attached to it, it can often render your phone irreparable as it requires incredibly complex and expensive rework equipment to successfully repair the problem. Even Apple Australia do not repair this fault themselves, which is why they will replace an iPhone rather than repairing it for you.
The good news is that even if your phone is not repairable we can help you with a number of other options available to get your iPhone back to you and working again as quick as possible. For more details on iPhone or any other repairs we offer, please view our price list.
